Dear Parent/Guardian,
I would like to welcome you to Carl Sandburg Middle School. I am so excited to start the new school year. Please feel free to explore this website. It will grow and develop along with the class as I mold it more to my classes’ needs. On this website you will find handouts given in class that you can download and print (this is especially handy if a student left work in school or lost a handout. You will also find links to some helpful websites for both you and your child. There is also a page with a list of homework; just in case there is any confusion or a student is absent. Remember, feel free to contact me at irosenthal@obps.org with any questions. I welcome all feedback as well as encourage open communication between teacher and parent/guardian. A good and communicative relationship between parent/guardian and teacher is imperative to student growth and success. Below you will find a copy of the letter that was given to your child. I asked that they be filled out and returned to me by September 14th. Thank you for all of your support.
