Reading:
We are finishing up Walk Two Moons. Afterward we will read a few short stories and then move on to non-fiction.
Writing:
We are working on writing different types of essays that students are required to write in school and on the NJ ASK such as Speculative, Explanatory Essays, and Persuasive.

PAW PRINTS CONTEST!!!
Write a short story that is no more than 2 pages (single spaced). This story should display/embody one of the following sayings:
“Always follow your heart.”
“The grass is always greener on the other side.”
“Love is blind.”
“Think before you speak.”
Students may submit stories through their LAL teacher or submit it online:
